wonderful news
a big congratulations to Sarachkah and Raul, brand spankin new parents of a beautiful and healthy baby girl- Ruby Magdalena. may they all sleep soundly tonight. welcome to the world lovely Ruby, may your journey be a pleasant one...
Now that I am officially "in my thirties", I've come to the conclusion that having your life and career planned out by your thirties is for wusses with no imagination or sense of adventure (who I often envy very very much). Right now I'm in grad school for Library Science (the latest in a long line of "career plans") and am happily married to a wonderful man with whom I hope to soon embark on the roller coaster ride which is "starting a family". I love to cook (and hence to eat). I'm currently into quilting. I'm overly fond of using ""'s. A dreamer of daydreams, a believer in Fate, a starry-eyed gal with her head in the clouds who contradictorily wishes she was a modern times, feet-on-the-ground realist. But- I gotta be me. And surely procrastinating, unrealistic dreamers come out on top every now and then... right?
