I just found your blog. You are being bookmarked. My mom died when I was 10, but my dad is still around, so far. Not doing the greatest, so I hope to glean some knowledge from your blog. I am 45 now, so its been awhile, but when I saw the "I want my mommy" I can totally relate. God Bless.
finally- a fellow 'motherless daughter'! so far this blog has been read mostly by my old friends, but i had always hoped to find others who have lost their parents and can relate to my emotional state. thanks for commenting, and i'm glad you stumbled in!
Now that I am officially "in my thirties", I've come to the conclusion that having your life and career planned out by your thirties is for wusses with no imagination or sense of adventure (who I often envy very very much). Right now I'm in grad school for Library Science (the latest in a long line of "career plans") and am happily married to a wonderful man with whom I hope to soon embark on the roller coaster ride which is "starting a family". I love to cook (and hence to eat). I'm currently into quilting. I'm overly fond of using ""'s. A dreamer of daydreams, a believer in Fate, a starry-eyed gal with her head in the clouds who contradictorily wishes she was a modern times, feet-on-the-ground realist. But- I gotta be me. And surely procrastinating, unrealistic dreamers come out on top every now and then... right?
